The General Inspectorate of Defense
The General Inspectorate of Defense, abbreviated as IGD, responsible
for monitoring and evaluating the regularity and quality of the functioning of
the bodies and services, carrying out inspections, audits, investigations or
inquiries and ensuring the supervision of the proper administration of the
human, material and financial resources provide to the Ministry, to the F-FDTL
and the services under and superintendence its supervision, verifying their
legality.
The activity of the General Inspectorate of Defense is managed
by the principles of the pursuit of the public interest, good management of
State resources, legality, respect for the fundamental rights of citizens and
other principles of administrative activity, Also the Inspector General
exercising his competences with impartiality, transparency, proportionality,
independences and technical autonomy.
