Minister of Defence Donaciano Gomes and China’s Delegation Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation
Dili, August 15, 2024 – H. E. the Minister of Defence, Rear Admiral, Donaciano Costa Gomes 'Pedro Klamar Fuik', Ph.D., received the Chinese delegation at the Ministry of Defence in Fatuhada, Dili, for a bilateral meeting. The meeting was attended by the Chief of Cabinet, Ana Carascalão Gomes, the Director General of Defence Resources, Martinho Soares Moniz, and the Director General of Defence Policy and International Cooperation, Nuno Carvalho.

On Friday, May 31, 2024, The Ministry of Defence, under the leadership of Chief of Cabinet Mrs Ana Carascalão Gomes, alongside Director-General of National Defense Policy (DG-PDN) Mr Nuno Carvalho Santos, and Director-General of Defense Resources Mr Martinho Soares Moniz, convened a diplomatic meeting with Superintendent RADM SHAO Shuguang and his delegation from the Dalian Naval Academy.
